Before the actual blogging really start, I would like to do a bio on myself first.
I was born and raised in Namibia, Africa. For those of you that has no clue where in Africa this is, well if I would to say, South Africa everybody knows where that is, right?. We as Namibians is a neighboring country of the infamous SA. Well, actually the place I live in is called Walvis Bay that was part of South Africa before we as Namibians became independent. Walvis Bay was know as South West Africa (Suid Wes Afrika). So…… you could say I am a South African by birth. Nevertheless, proud Namibian, living in a vast desert with dunes and sea meeting each other side by side here along the coast. Beautiful place to say the least.
I was born in Walvis Bay, lived my childhood and teen years in the Capital called Windhoek and then after marrying my husband (who is also from Walvis Bay), moved back to the coastal town to raise four wonderful children.
Growing up, I was a dreamer. Big one too. Some will argue that dreams are not what the real world are made off. Others again says we can only move forward and grow when we keep on dreaming. Dreaming of what I wanted to accomplish in life, was big for me. On top of my bucket list was a big family. I wanted a huge family and God found it good enough that we were blessed with four angels. Three boys and one girl.
Now, don’t get me wrong, it ain’t sunshine and roses all the way. I am a full time working mom. From 07:00 until 17:00 everyday I sit behind a computer to help get the bills paid, but I still have other dreams. Dreams to be the best mom I can be for my children at home (which to say the least is not easy when you have a day job). I want to be the best wife for my husband, making new memories every day with him. And I think this reason right here is why I started my blog. We have so many fond memories of making VCR tapes about the kids and in the beginning of our marriage, when you look back at them it brings so much joy to my heart and that I want to bring back into our lives.
Want to pursue my music and art and maybe one day share it with some of you on this blog.
So, in a nut shell, this is me. Hope you all will enjoy my blogs. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
